Gorgeous views, nice walks and free pasta.

After Munich, we travelled to Innsbruck, Austria. Although typically a ski resort town, we got to Innsbruck before the snow, and therefore the crowds. We stayed in a lovey B&B in the heart of the city. We were able to once again spoil ourselves to a private room for cheap.

The first day, after arriving from Munich, we went grocery shopping, cooked a delicious meal and tasted a few local brews on the balcony. And prepared for the next day full of hiking!

(Note: cooking is something both of us enjoy, and J has been missing it very much lately-thank goodness for Austria for a working kitchen!)

It did take us a little while to get to the trail we wanted (and we are still unclear if we were ever on it) but it was amazing-public transit basically took us right up to the trailhead! Thank goodness for ski lifts. After wandering in the Alps for a bit, making up stories, laughing and taking in the amazing autumn colors in the mountains, we went back home to make a nice dinner and slept great.

We set our alarms with the intention of hiking again with a group the next day. When 08:00 came, we both hit snooze few times. That was alright! We took the day to walk around town, do some (very) light browsing and wished for Chinese buffets. We cooked pasta again and were able to enjoy the views of the alps from the window as we ate.

We left the next (rainy) morning for Italy! Our last stop. Keep up to date by checking out our instagrams on the right (desktop) or beneath all the junk (mobile) as we are better at posting photos as we go, than updating the blog.

More soon, Mags
